Ghosts and Mysteries walking tour
Haunted Dubrovnik hosts the original "Ghosts & Mysteries Walking Tour", an eerie and immersive trip through a side of Dubrovnik you won’t find anywhere else.
We invite you to join our master storyteller as she leads you into a night filled with local horrors, curses, secret societies, ghosts, folklore beliefs, pestilence, executions, conspiracies, and other dreadful stories from Dubrovnik’s earlier days. Echoes of terrors past, locals have whispered these tales to each other in the darkness for centuries.
This tour will take you away from the busy streets, outside the city walls, and into the twilit places where old secrets still lurk. It starts at twilight near the local graveyard, Boninovo. Besides the cemetery itself and its nearby haunted palaces, the walk features charming Gradac park where you'll hear stories about public executions, the grim black death, the curse of Lokrum island and more.

Duration: up to 2 hours.

The starting point is by the love padlocks at Boninovo, only 10-15 min by foot or 2 bus stops from the old city (you can take any local bus leaving from Pile station). It is the point where Ulica Branitelja Dubrovnika street meets Put od Republike street. Check out the map for the exact point.

Due to uneven surfaces and steps along the way, this tour is not wheelchair accessible and we do not recommend it for those with walking disabilities. It is also not recommended for baby strollers.
